Is there such a thing as self-defence … or is this just another form of cruelty?
No one attacks, whether invader or self-defender, without meaning to hurt the opponent.
In other words, to be cruel is our protection … and the safer we are, is because the crueler we are.
This is to succumb to the belief that to be cruel to others brings us freedom.
By being cruel we believe that our present state will change into something better, and keep us safer, securer from invasion, and free from fear.
But fear is born here, born with blood, and fed with blood to grow it into a rage to swell more blood.
Yet the simple truth is: we make what we defend ourselves against.
